Club news2008 Championship's For the Forest Championship Points click HERE For the Tarmac Championship Points click HERE For the Road Rally Championship Points click HERE For the Marshal's Championship Points click HERE RBS Manx Rally - 9th/10th May Brian Davies / Hu Kent maged 62nd O/All and 3rd in class B10 on the Manx Rally on the weekend. A full results breakdown is available here. RDP Welsh Rally - 4th May Some better results from the Welsh in comparison to the Tour Of Epynt for PTMC crews! Kevin Davies / Dylan Jenkins finished 18th O/All & 3rd In Gp N. Brian Davies / Hu Kent finished 23rd O/All & 2nd in Class 2. Philip Turner / Simon Anthony failed to finish when the differential packed up. Full results are available here. Night Owl Road Rally - 26th/27th April A number of crews were competing on the Night Owl rally this weekend in Aberystwyth, the 4th round of the Welsh Championship. Adrian Jones/Dylan Jenkins (Subaru Impreza) & Dai Bowen/Andrew Richardson (Peugeot) continued with their dismal current record with an engine misfire in the Subaru & an accident in the Peugeot (That Peugeot will be like new if Dai carries on!). A more successful night was had by Nigel Phillips/Chris Cooper-Jones in the Suzuki Swift, who finished 28th O/All. For a full lowdown of the results, see www.rallyroots.com. Rali Bro Teifi - 12th/13th April A number of crews were competing on the Rali Bro Teifi this weekend in Newcastle Emlyn, the 3rd round of the Welsh Championship. Adrian Jones/Dylan Jenkins - DNF, accident, Dai Bowen/Andrew Richardson - 27th O/All, Nigel Phillips/Chris Cooper-Jones - 14th O/All. Red Dragon Rally - 5th April A number of crews were competing on the Red Dragon Rally last weekend. See www.reddragonrally.co.uk for the press release. A very successfull event was run by the club and we would like to thank everybody that helped to make this a success. Gremlin Road Rally - 8th/9th March Some good results for club members out on the Gremlin rally. Nigel Phillips/Chris Cooper Jones were 1st 1400 home and 11th overall. Gareth Barry/Andrew Richardson were 2nd in class 2 and 14th overall. Dai Bowen/Dylan Jenkins went off the road and did not finish. Dai Jones/Phill Hooper retired with a blow engine. Tour Of Epynt - 2nd March A very disappointing weekend for PTMC competitors. Manny Borelli/Simon Anthony failed to make the start with an engine problem the day prior to the rally. Brian Davies/Hu Kent had an uncharacteristic off on the penultimate stage. Kevin Davies/Dylan Jenkins lost the clutch on the road section to the last stage. Mike Williams/Paul Seabourne blew the engine. Rali Bro Caron - 23rd/24th February After leading the rally at the Petrol halt, Kevin Davies/Dylan Jenkins slid into a ditch in the 2nd half of the rally, lost 3 minutes & finished in 8th O/All. Dai Bowen/Andrew Richardson clipped a rock, damaged the suspension & retired from the event. Nigel Phillips/Dai Jones finished 48th O/All in the Suzuki Swift. Rali Cwm Gwendraeth - 17th February PTMC crew Manny Borrelli / Simon Anthony were in action on the Rali Cwm Gwendraeth which took place at Pembrey on Sunday 17th February, in their Peugeot 106 GTi. With a class lead of 18secs going into the last stage, everything was looking comfortable for the win, but a broken track control arm with only a mile to the finish ended in a disappointing non finish to the rally.
